What files can I send for an industrial quote?
STEP, STL, 3MF, existing CAD exports, 2D drawings with dimensions, or clear reference photos with measurements. We review printability and may ask follow-up questions before printing.
Does ABHITA provide engineering design or certification?
No. ABHITA is a 3D printing and prototyping service. We can help with basic printability adjustments and simple modifications when dimensions are clear, but final engineering design, load rating, fitment validation and regulatory approval remain the customer’s responsibility.
How fast can you print after file approval?
For many small parts with clear dimensions and print-ready files, local teams can often receive prototypes within about 24 hours after print-file approval. We confirm timeline after reviewing your file.
How quickly will I get a quote?
For clear files with quantity and use described, we typically respond within 4 working hours. Incomplete files or missing dimensions take longer.
Which materials do you offer for industrial parts?
Common options include PETG, ABS and ASA. Choice depends on geometry, temperature and how the part will be handled. Check materials or ask in your quote for current colours and stock.
Is PETG “chemical resistant”?
PETG is often chosen for lab and production fixtures because it handles many everyday shop environments well. Resistance varies by chemical, concentration and exposure time — we do not publish certified chemical ratings. Share your use case and we will discuss suitability.
When should I choose ABS or ASA?
Teams often pick ABS or ASA for tougher trials or warmer / outdoor-facing mock-ups. Exact heat or weather performance depends on the part design; we do not guarantee a temperature rating without your validation.
Can you print medical, food-contact or regulated parts?
We can print prototypes and fixtures from supplied files for internal review, but we do not certify medical compliance, food-contact safety, load rating or regulated-use approval. Those remain the customer’s responsibility.
What tolerances can you guarantee?
We do not publish fixed tolerance guarantees. Fit depends on geometry, material, orientation, wall thickness and post-processing. Share critical dimensions and we will discuss what is realistic for FDM printing.
What is your maximum part size?
Build capacity depends on current printers and orientation. Share overall dimensions with your file and we will confirm whether it fits in one piece or should be split.
Do you finish or paint parts?
Basic support removal and cleanup are included as needed. Extra sanding, inserts or paint can be discussed per job — ask when you request the quote.
Can you add threaded inserts or hardware?
Sometimes, when the design allows and hardware is agreed in the quote. Bring your insert preference or we can discuss simple options after reviewing the model.
Do you print batch or repeat orders?
Yes for small batches of the same approved file. Pricing and lead time scale with quantity and material. Repeat orders are easier once a business account and approved revision are on file.
Can I revise a fixture after a shop-floor trial?
Yes. Send marked-up dimensions or an updated file and we will quote the revision. Keep revision notes clear to avoid reprinting the wrong version.
Do you sign NDAs?
We treat customer files as confidential for quoting and fulfilment under our Privacy Policy. Formal NDA wording can be discussed for business accounts when needed.
Do you provide GST invoices?
Yes. GST invoices are available when billing details (and GSTIN if applicable) are provided.
Can I pick up in Daman or Vapi?
Local pickup and coordination are available for the Daman–Vapi belt. Courier dispatch across India is also possible after approval.
Do you ship across India?
Yes, after the part is approved. Shipping cost and packing depend on size and destination — confirmed in the quote.
What payment methods do you accept?
Business quotes typically use UPI or bank transfer as agreed on the invoice. Consumer checkout options on the main site may differ; industrial jobs follow the quote payment note.
Is there a minimum order value?
Small one-off prototypes are welcome. Very tiny jobs may still carry a minimum handling amount — we will state it clearly in the quote.
Can you reverse-engineer a part from a photo alone?
A photo helps context, but we need dimensions or a CAD file to print accurately. Measured drawings or STEP/STL/3MF work best.
Will you redesign my part from a rough sketch?
No full engineering redesign. We can advise on printability and simple modifications when dimensions are clear. Complex design remains with your team or design partner.
Do you stock colours for industrial materials?
Colour availability changes with stock. Ask in the quote or check the materials page; we will confirm before printing.
Can you match a Pantone or OEM colour?
Exact colour matching is limited on FDM filament. We can suggest the closest stock colour and share photo proof when helpful.
Do you print metal or resin industrial parts?
This industrial page covers our standard FDM polymer service (PETG/ABS/ASA and related stock). Ask if you need another process — we will say clearly if it is outside current scope.
Are machine guards included in your scope?
We can print geometry from your approved file for review, but we do not certify machine safety, guarding compliance or load rating. Your engineering team owns safety approval.
What happens after I upload a file?
We review printability, ask clarifying questions if needed, send a quote, print after approval, share photo proof when useful, then arrange pickup or dispatch.
Should I use WhatsApp or the quote form?
