This Privacy Policy explains how ABHITA 3D Printing ("ABHITA", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data of users of our website abhita.in and our services. By using our services you consent to the practices described below. This policy is governed by India's Information Technology Act 2000, IT Rules 2011, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and applicable Consumer Protection laws.

2. How we use your data

- Google — if you choose to sign in with Google (governed by Google's privacy policy)
- Hostinger — our hosting provider where website data is stored (servers in India / Asia)
- Courier services (Delhivery, BlueDart, India Post, etc.) — to ship your orders
- Tax authorities and law enforcement — when legally compelled by valid court orders, summons, or to comply with tax law
- Meta (Facebook) — anonymized event data via Facebook Pixel for advertising (if active)
We never share your phone number, email, or address with marketing partners.
5. Data retention
- Order records: retained for 7 years (statutory requirement for tax records)
- Account data: retained while your account is active; deleted within 60 days of account closure on request
- Uploaded design files: retained for 12 months after order completion (in case of reorders), then deleted
- Activity logs: retained for 12 months for security purposes
- Marketing data: retained until you unsubscribe
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Correct — update inaccurate data via your account or by contacting us
- Delete — request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Object — opt out of marketing communications
- Port — request your data in a machine-readable format

7. Security

10. International data
Our hosting servers are located in India. Some service providers (Google, Meta, Razorpay) may process data on servers outside India in compliance with applicable data transfer regulations. By using our services, you consent to such transfers.
11. Marketing submissions, social APIs & security
If you choose to participate in optional programs (such as sharing your print with a campaign hashtag, submitting a post link for rewards, or submitting a link to an honest public review), we may collect: your name, contact details, order reference, the URL you submit, platform, consent flags, and related notes.
We use this information only to verify eligibility, prevent abuse, issue rewards after manual review by ABHITA 3D, and improve our services. We do not sell this data.
Where we display our own Instagram content or Google Business reviews on the site, we fetch that content using API credentials stored only on the server (never exposed in browser JavaScript). Cached copies may be stored briefly to improve performance.
Optional Facebook login, Instagram feed, and Google review features may be enabled or disabled by ABHITA 3D at any time. For deletion requests relating to data you submitted, see our Data Deletion page and email hello@abhita.in.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email or prominent site notice.
