Terms & Conditions

Welcome to ABHITA 3D Printing ("ABHITA", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our website at abhita.in or placing an order with us, you ("customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree with any part, please do not use our services.

1. Service description

ABHITA provides on-demand 3D printing and laser engraving services. Customers can:

• Order from our curated catalog of 3D printable products
• Submit URLs to publicly available 3D model files (MakerWorld, Thingiverse, Printables, etc.) for printing
• Upload custom STL/STEP/OBJ files for printing
• Request custom design and printing services

2. Pricing and quotes

2.1 Estimates are not final prices

Final pricing is confirmed by ABHITA staff after reviewing your specific file, requirements, material availability, and operational constraints. We commit to sending the final confirmed quote within the SLA window displayed at quote submission (typically 4 working hours, but no later than 24 working hours).

2.2 Quote confirmation process

1. You request a quote via our website calculator, file upload, or URL submission
2. You receive an instant estimate with a confirmation timer (e.g., "Final quote within 4 hours")
3. Within the displayed SLA, ABHITA sends the final confirmed quote via WhatsApp, email, or in-app notification
4. You may accept, reject, or request modifications to the final quote
5. Order proceeds only after final quote acceptance and (where applicable) advance payment

2.3 Advance payment

For custom orders, bulk orders, or orders above ₹2,000, ABHITA may require advance payment of 50% to 100% of the estimated price before printing begins. The remaining balance is due before shipping. Advance payments are non-refundable once printing has commenced (see Refund Policy).

2.4 Price changes

If file analysis, material requirements, or printing constraints differ significantly from the initial estimate (e.g., requires support material, longer print time, larger material quantity), the final quote may differ from the estimate. We will explain any variance clearly. You may cancel without charge if the final quote exceeds the estimate by more than 25%.

3. Order acceptance

All orders are subject to ABHITA's acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to:

• Files that infringe intellectual property rights of third parties
• Designs that are illegal, dangerous, weapon-related, or harmful
• Content that is obscene, defamatory, or violates Indian law (IT Act 2000, IPC, etc.)
• Designs requiring capabilities beyond our equipment
• Suspected fraudulent orders

4. Customer responsibilities

4.1 Intellectual property warranty

• You own the content, OR
• You have explicit permission from the rightful owner to commission a 3D print of the content, OR
• The content is licensed under terms (e.g., Creative Commons) that permit commercial 3D printing for personal use

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ABHITA, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, lawsuit, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from any third party alleging that your submitted content infringes their copyright, trademark, design rights, patents, publicity rights, or any other intellectual property right.

ABHITA is a manufacturing service provider. We do not pre-screen or audit IP rights of every submitted file. Responsibility for IP rests entirely with the customer.

4.2 Use of printed products

You acknowledge and agree that:

• 3D printed products are manufactured to your specifications
• ABHITA is not responsible for how you use the finished product
• 3D printed parts have inherent limitations (layer adhesion, anisotropy, dimensional tolerance ±0.3mm typically) and may not be suitable for safety-critical applications, medical use, food contact, structural load-bearing without engineering validation, or applications requiring food-grade or medical-grade certification
• You are solely responsible for determining whether a 3D printed part meets the requirements of your intended use
• ABHITA disclaims liability for any damage, injury, loss, or harm resulting from the use, misuse, or failure of 3D printed parts

4.3 Information accuracy

You agree to provide accurate name, contact details, shipping address, and any specifications required to fulfill your order. ABHITA is not liable for delays, misdelivery, or non-delivery caused by inaccurate information you provide.

5. Payments

We accept payments through the methods displayed at checkout or shared during order confirmation (including direct UPI (payment details are shared securely at checkout after order confirmation), verified UPI with payment proof via WhatsApp where enabled, and card or wallet payments through our payment processor when offered). All transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR). Card and UPI payment data is handled by our payment partners and is not stored on our servers — see our Privacy Policy.

7. Returns, cancellations and refunds

See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details, including the strict 7-day window for return requests on stock catalog items.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, ABHITA's total liability for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order to which the claim relates. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except as required by Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

ABHITA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, business interruption, or data loss.

9. Intellectual property of ABHITA content

The website design, ABHITA logo, brand name "ABHITA", original photographs, descriptive text written by ABHITA, and code are owned by ABHITA and protected under Indian copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use this content without prior written permission.

Customer-submitted content remains the property of the customer; ABHITA holds only a non-exclusive license to use that content for the purpose of fulfilling the order, including limited rights to display anonymized photos of finished prints on social media unless you opt out.

11. Coupons, referrals, share programs & reviews

Optional marketing programs (including share‑and‑earn, hashtag campaigns, ABHITA‑issued discount codes, or periodic "showcase" rewards) are governed by these additional rules:

• Participation is voluntary and never required to place an order.
• All rewards require manual review and approval by ABHITA 3D. We may reject submissions that appear fraudulent, misleading, or abusive.
• Discount coupons specify their own minimum order value, percentage, expiry, and redemption limits. Stacking with other promotions is only allowed if we explicitly say so.
• Any described "free print" or showcase prize is subject to stock, feasibility, and fair‑use limits. Unless we confirm otherwise in writing, shipping and insurance for reward prints are payable by the customer.
• We do not pay for positive Google reviews. If we offer a thank‑you perk for submitting proof of a public, honest review, that perk may be withheld where reviews appear coerced, fake, or misleading.
• We may pause or terminate any program instantly at our discretion.

12. Account suspension and termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any customer account that violates these Terms, attempts fraudulent activity, submits content that infringes IP rights, or otherwise acts in bad faith.

13. Changes to these Terms

ABHITA may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, India (without prejudice to mandatory consumer forums). Where consumer protection laws of India provide more favorable terms to the consumer, those laws shall prevail.
